Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan.
THIS COSTUME is GONE. IT CAN NOT BE ORDERED.. Will there be more? Depending on the artisan, general designs may or may not be repeated, but never exactly. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. I don't have the resources to take the number of requests I get to 'watch for something like xyz and let (you) know when it comes in," I'm sorry, I wish I could.YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
COMING SOON (but not now, please don't ask!), certain SPECIFIC (not all) costumes WILL be custom-orderable indivdually. When that is possible, there will be PLENTY of notices here on the web site, you won't miss it. I'm not sure exactly when this will be put into operation. Please WAIT for notices on the site saying it is possible before asking ANYTHING about 'custom ordering' (I just don't have any info on it now), until then
NO COSTUME, INCLUDING THIS ONE, CAN BE ORDERED - IT IS NOT ORDERABLE AT THIS TIME

If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic, you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.

Made in Egypt. This costume is absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully crafted, with something special about every detail.

The fabric is a stunning (not shocking!) animal print with metallic gold holographic overlay of tiny very closely spaced dots. The print itself morphs from one type of animal (stripes, spots) to another, and is fairly subtle.

The beadwork and cut out detail on this are spectacular! All around the top of the skirt are small triangular cut outs (about 1-1/2" across triangle base), below a ruched band (1-1/2" - 2" wide). Main beading design is primarily rich, high-relief looping outlines of large gold and brown glass seed beads with tiny round gold metallic accents, also traditional long smooth gold glass bugles. Sequin fills in holographic gold; ambers, coppers, browns in both faceted and smooth sequins, often layered with small flat gold sequins; generous use of strung glass rhinestones in hip beadwork and bra, and a serpentine line of rhinestones goes around entire top band of skirt. This band is also decorated with a variety of beautiful large glass and crystal beads, as well as high quality clear faceted acrylics. Beadwork richly covers hips, large amount around entire lower circumference of skirt, with design also reaching about halfway up along slit and center back.

Between each diamond cut out hangs a fabulous 7" long tassel, large clear seed beads at the top, then gorgeous silver rounds with rhinestones set in, a large semi-precious look bead, gold tassle cone, and rich bunch of glass seed bead strands ending in more high quality ceramic and acrylic beads.

The bra has a subtle assymetry, balanced by the slit on one side of the skirt. Half the bra (cup and back strap) are covered with ruched fabric, the otehr smooth. the ruchedd side has short fringe pieces with beautiful crystal faceted beads and the rhinestone rounds as on the skirt tassles, with scattered glass beads and crystals. The smooth side has rich beadwork as on the skirt, as well as large (3/16") rhinestone strands along top of cup, half a dozen of a variety of crystals, and more rhinestone strands winding through the design. The halter straps are ruched, with a curving rhinestone strand running the entire length of both.

The skirt is the definition of "fit-to-flare"; very body hugging down to mid thigh, then each of the four gores flares out very widely (see photo); it spins and moves incredibly. Slit over left leg; at current sizing it is about 1-1/2" - 2" wide (see sizing description), with swagged strands of gold glass bugle beads and metallic rounds hanging at the top. Skirt slit and edges all trimmed with looping gold glass sead beads. Skirt has back zipper.

Accessories: Two matching beaded cuffs (shaped, not soft fabric; each has a 1" AB crystal and long sewn on string of rhinestones); upper arm or anklet length (about 11"); you could overlap or cut down for wrists.

Age/Condition: New. See skirt size descriptions for information on some (necessary) alterations that have been made.

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K

Bra
    PLEASE read:
    - Brief Explanation of notations used below.
    - Underbust measurements are NOT a good way to judge bra fit, please read this (short).

Should fit range including: wide 34 C/D, 36 maybe a tad wide B/C. Max underbust = 34.5".

Skirt Top: Smallest body will reasonably fit approximately = 29", largest body will reasonably fit approximately = 36". Came with ridiculously tight 1/4" elastic, which I cut in a couple of places to yield the measurement range above. You could re-tighten to get top of skirt smaller, if you needed. NOTE it will come to you with the elastic as I cut it; ends safety pinned down. The elastic is/was in a "thread casing", easy to add more, loosen more. See tips here.

Skirt Hips at widest: Smallest body will reasonably fit approximately = 33", largest body will reasonably fit approximately = 36", 37" if you have slim thighs (if the widest part of you - 37" - is high. In other words, this skirt is a bit close fitting around upper legs compared to the fit around the rear end). Small Alteration Made (all photos are of the skirt pinned this way): This skirt was extremely tight around the thighs compared to the hip size. I opened up the (unbeaded) seam above the leg slit, widening the slit to get the measurement range given above. I added the swag of fringe to the top of the slit. If you purchase this spectacular costume, you will receive it with the seam un-re-sewn but very carefully and neatly pinned; it is short enough that you can easily hand stitch it in a short amount of time (adjusting it as you want). The fringe swag at the top of the slit is independent of the skirt, sewn into a strip of fabric, which is pinned in place also. I'll include appropriately colored sewing thread and a needle. I'll also include some beading-weight thread and gold seed beads that match the bead trim on the slit edges, should you want to trim the 1-2" top of the wider opening.

Skirt length: 37.5".
