Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan.
THIS COSTUME is GONE. IT CAN NOT BE ORDERED.. Will there be more? Depending on the artisan, general designs may or may not be repeated, but never exactly. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. I don't have the resources to take the number of requests I get to 'watch for something like xyz and let (you) know when it comes in," I'm sorry, I wish I could.YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
COMING SOON (but not now, please don't ask!), certain SPECIFIC (not all) costumes WILL be custom-orderable indivdually. When that is possible, there will be PLENTY of notices here on the web site, you won't miss it. I'm not sure exactly when this will be put into operation. Please WAIT for notices on the site saying it is possible before asking ANYTHING about 'custom ordering' (I just don't have any info on it now), until then
NO COSTUME, INCLUDING THIS ONE, CAN BE ORDERED - IT IS NOT ORDERABLE AT THIS TIME

If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic, you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.

Made in Egypt. "Oh crum, I'm booked for an (expensive) Egyptian wedding and the bride wants an "elegant, flow-ey skirt" on the costume, all my reds at the moment are pretty bare... WAIT! Here it is! Perfect!" That's how I ended up with this one in my own collection. And it WAS perfect! Really nice RED, not too bright, not some odd off-red. Fabric is stretch metallic (in the weave, not an overlay), with lots of large soft red mesh godets (insets) in the skirt for a beautiful flare out from nicely fitted hips. Top is completely integrated with standard costume bra, flaring lower sleeve is also soft mesh. Fabric over the back is separate from regular bra back straps and fastens independently. Beadwork design is unique, geometric viney lines snaking around entire costume, outlined with beautiful deep red glass seed beads and fills of seed beads, smooth (standard) red glass bugles, silver holographic sequins, various red sequins in clear iridescents, regular solids, holographic. Fringe accent groups of strands of red glass square cut bugles and a delicate "creative" strand of seed beads, silver metallics, and a lovely white opalescent moonstone gemstone-look sphere at the end.

Accessories: Matching beaded mesh gauntlet (one), soft headband, soft ankle cuff.

Age/Condition: Lightly used. I know I wore it at least once (for an Egyptian wedding, of course!); maybe one other time, so it really has very little mileage. All beading in excellent condition, none missing or loose; I don't see any spots but will double check (I'm tired :) ) and note if I find any. I fussed around with the skirt elastic alot (see note in Sizing), so on the INSIDE of the skirt top it's a little, well, fussed with. Nothing torn, no loose beads, nothing like that - just some well-handled elastic.

Sizing:
> Click For "How to Buy a Costume that Fits", explanation of my sizing, how to apply it to you, also some tips on altering. VERY HELPFUL

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K

Bra
    PLEASE read:
    - Brief Explanation of notations used below.
    - Underbust measurements are NOT a good way to judge bra fit, please read this (short).

Should fit range including: 32 wide D/DD, 34 B+/C/D, 36 B/C. Max underbust = 38."

Skirt Top: Smallest body will reasonably fit approximately = 31," largest body will reasonably fit approximately = 37." Came with two short (3-4") strips of not real springy 1" elastic in exterior thread casing. I added good no-roll 1" elastic most of the way around -- except um, most of it I just safety pinned in. You'll get it with three 3-4" sections of elastic in thread casing; probably enough for 33" and above, smaller bodies will likely need more. I'll also leave the rest of the elastic partially pinned so you can do what you like with it. See explanation of thread casing here.

Skirt Hips at widest: Smallest body will reasonably fit approximately = 34," largest body will reasonably fit approximately = 39."

Skirt length: 38."
