SOLD
Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan.
THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.

If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic (on most you should be able to see individual beads, though some aren't that large), you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.

Made in Egypt. Gorgeous, elegant professional costume with large real crystals and rhinestones, mesh backed cutouts, long mesh sleeve.

Intricate beadowrk with many types of sequins and glass beads, all blend beautifully, overall theme is softer, secondary color rather than primary brights. Bra has four 5/16" round clear AB real glass crystals and two similarly sized dark AB heart real glass crystals. Two more of each in hip beadwork. Rhinestone accenting on bra and around crystals. Fringe accents in hip area and a couple on bra are rich groups of five strands of mixed beads. Hips are fitted, skirt flares, slit over left leg. Cutouts backed with soft black mesh. Large midriff cutout. Right side of dress, top to bottom, has string of almost connected cutouts, beautifully worked into bead design (solid lycra over hip area) which are a wonderfully sneaky bit of daring. They are actually a fairly large amount of open area, but because they are backed by black mesh in a black dress, they don't jump out and say "SKIN!", not in the least. Just enough to make some of your audience do a double take.

Dress is strapless on one shoulder, on other lycra continues to elbow and then a long, wide drop sleeve of mesh (unfortunately has some holes, see "Age/Condition" below). Back zipper.

Accessories: Standard soft black lycra headband (center knot) edged with gold glass bugle beads (didn't come with dress but works fine)

Age/Condition: New. But has issues, most easily fixable. This is why price is reduced. Worst first: holes in mesh sleeve. See detail photo below of holes. I think I'd span with some fabric and cover with some beads and sequins, maybe add a couple of other spots of beads/sequins on rest of sleeve. The rest: apparently this dress has just been around (it is definitely end of season/shipment). Overall is in excellent condition. However, there are many loose bead thread ends that will become problems if not tied/glued off. No major bead loss yet. Midriff mesh stitiching holding it to lycra is undone in a couple of places (short runs, inch or two max). Two spots of hem bead trim missing, about 2" and 3". I've tied them off so no more is going to come undone in those spots. Simple looping glass bead and sequin trim, I will send as many matching (or close) beads and sequins as I can. Price has already been reduced to account for these issues.

Sizing:
> Click For "How to Buy a Costume that Fits", explanation of my sizing, how to apply it to you, also some tips on altering. VERY HELPFUL

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours, even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K

  • How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Also tools for converting to/from non-US sizes. Plus quite a few alteration tips and what to expect from imported costumes. Link to this also on Site front page.

  • AFTER reading all info, Email inquiries if possible, it's easier for me to quickly answer emails vs. phone calls. Include number AND, please, name/title of the costume(s). Include ZIP CODE (country if non-USA) if you want shipping cost (just your city won't do it). But if you need to call, no problem: 352-373-4991.

    FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)

  • Q:"How long will it take to get my order? How much is shipping?"
A: For full detail on carriers and rates see Quick Help- Shipping. Total time to receive your order is the Processing Time (time until delivery to shipper: document processing, costume prep, packing, waiting for the 10 orders ahead to be shipped, etc.) PLUS the shipping transit time. Normal processing time is from 1 up to 7 business days. Currently, due to brisk business, closer to 7 days. Standard shipping within the US takes 2 to 5 days; roughly $11-$17. Shipping costs outside the USA vary greatly. VERY rough examples: Canada, generally the higher end is in the $30 range. Europe, Japan, South Asia, expect at least $50. You are responsible for any customs taxes. Expedited shipping (overnight, guaranteed 2 day, etc.) - ask specifically for costs in your initial request.
  • Q: "I'm a (for example) 38 bust and 35 underbust, I wear a size 10, will this costume fit me/can you tell me what costumes will fit?" or, "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read "How to Buy a Costume that fits". You need to know your correct bra size and current measurements, then compare to the measured ranges given, which are done very carefully and in which I invest a lot of time so that you can make informed decisions. You MUST do this before asking questions or for any opinion about fit. Link to this "How To.." also in grey column always on left of the Site.
  • Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
    A: No.
  • Q: "How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order (US)" or "How To Order (from outside US)". Links to these also in grey column always on left of Site.
  • Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Reserve Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order (US)" or B>"How To Order (from outside US)", which include Reserve Ordering.

    *****************************

  • Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Reserve Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
  • Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. In some circumstances you may be charged a rush fee; whether and how much (never more than $20) depends on so many variables and the circumstances at the exact time of your order there is no way to provide a pre-calculated list of charges. My philosophy: if it doesn't disrupt OTHER people's orders or cause real extra work for me, I don't charge anything to get something to you as quickly as I can. If I'm so swamped that it does cause significant disruption, that means there are costs to me which I have no choice but to pass on to you as additional (rush) fees (or I'm out of business -- I keep prices as low as I can and have very little margin). . Rush charges may apply.
  • If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.

    Thank you!

I check carefully, but they happen. Costumes will not be sold at a price that is posted in error. Typo errors in costume sizing which to a reasonably intelligent customer would look questionable in context are not cause for remuneration.
