Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
Made in Egypt. Very pretty; the gold metallic overlay (tiny random dots on goldish stretch fabric) isn't overwhelmingly SHINY, absolutely has punch but is actually rather elegant. And it's like getting two costumes in one! The back of the bra is fully decorated so that the bra and belt can be used as a set, with a skirt (or pants or whatever) separately from the dress.
Scrolling design on dress skirt, bra and belt is double lines of holographic gold and dark amber sequins with gold seed beads. This also trims chest opening, oval cutouts on dress sides, oval cutouts on upper arms of dress sleeves, sleeve ends and skirt slit edges and hem. Sleeve ends, slit edges and hem also have holographic gold paillettes on looping gold seed beads.
Bra and belt have accents of nice full bunches of fringe, gold seed bead tipped with gold holographic paillettes. Continuous fringe on bottom edge of belt, about 4" long, gold seed beads with holographic gold paillettes at 3 uniformly varying levels, they overlap and give a very rich, full look.
Dress has open front for bra,
Accessories: None.
Age/Condition: New.

Sizing:
> Click For explanation of sizing, how to apply it to you, also some tips on altering. VERY HELPFUL
Bra (click here for important info on notations):
Should fit range including wide 32 C/D, 34 B/C, 36 A/B/small C (small C a real squeeze - model is a small-medium 36 C. Natural breasts may have to much creasing or bumping).
Belt: Maximum 39". Probably optimal not much smaller than 35", the closure will be more toward the back instead of on the side the smaller you go, and the narrower front end will show more over the widening back. It's not horrible, though -- model in photos is 32" at belt height.
True Waist (at narrowest): Probably optimal as is for 28/29", but VERY easy to take in along princess (vertical "darts) seams, 2 in front and 2 in back, no beading on them, probably at least 2 or 3 inches smaller. Largest body will reasonably fit approximately = 35".
Size of Top: Very difficult to get useful measurement of any circumference (bust, underbust, etc.) because of open front. Across the back at approximately the shoulder blades, from sleeve seam to sleeve seam, is 13/5", fabric relaxed.
Hips at Widest: As is, will fit "comfortably" (in other words, a bit loose, but not at all like a sack, just not body hugging,) on about a 34/35" hip. EASY to take in along seams to go smaller or fit closer. Maximum will reasonably fit approximately = 40".
Dress Length (from top center of shoulder, down front to hem): 57". Probably corresponds to a skirt length of about 37/38". Shortenable? Sure. Usual problem of losing the bottom trim, which in this case is a bit of a shame since it's more than just a narrow looping seed bead line -- but these dresses often come WITHOUT any paillette trim on the hem, only on the sides of the slits. If it's gone, nobody's going to notice. Re-beading isn't rocket science at all, anybody can do it, but it does take time. You can always pinch hem. The scrolling bead/sequin lines are, at the closest, about 2" from the hem (meaning the edge of the fabric, not including paillette trim). .

How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Also tools for converting to/from non-US sizes. Plus quite a few alteration tips and what to expect from imported costumes. Link to this also on Site front page.
AFTER reading all info, Email inquiries if possible, it's easier for me to quickly answer emails vs. phone calls. Include number AND, please, name/title of the costume(s). Include ZIP CODE (country if non-USA) if you want shipping cost (just your city won't do it). But if you need to call, no problem: 352-373-4991.
FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)
Q: "I'm a 38 bust and 35 underbust, I wear a size 10, will this costume fit me/can you tell me what costumes will fit?" or, "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read "How to Buy a Costume that fits". You need to know your correct bra size and current measurements, then compare to the measured ranges given, which are done very carefully and in which I invest a lot of time so that you can make informed decisions. You MUST do this before asking questions or for any opinion about fit. Link to this "How To.." also in grey column always on left of the Site.
Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
A: No.
Q:"How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order (US)" or "How To Order (from outside US)". Links to these also in grey column always on left of Site.
Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Reserve Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order (US)" or B>"How To Order (from outside US)", which include Reserve Ordering.
*****************************
Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Reserve Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
Normal processing time (time until your order is shipped) is from 1 up to 7 business days, rarely as long as 7. However, due to brisk business, I'm tending to need the whole 7 days; hope for less but expect 7.
Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. In some circumstances you may be charged a rush fee; whether and how much (never more than $20) depends on so many variables and the circumstances at the exact time of your order there is no way to provide a pre-calculated list of charges. My philosophy: if it doesn't disrupt OTHER people's orders or cause real extra work for me, I don't charge anything to get something to you as quickly as I can. If I'm so swamped that it does cause significant disruption, that means there are costs to me which I have no choice but to pass on to you as additional (rush) fees (or I'm out of business -- I keep prices as low as I can and have very little margin).
. Rush charges may apply.
If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
Thank you!
